I also made two Whale-watching trips with my friends during my time in Canada and we were very lucky to meet a large school of Pacific white-sided dolphins (Lagenorhynchus obliquidens) . Our nature guide was overwhelmed and said it must have been more than 100 dolphins! I’m not good at wildlife photography, especially with fast moving animals – this had always been Gerd’s favourite field of photography. Well, I at least gave my very best and although the photo is not 100% sharp, I’m quite happy with it. I hope Gerd can see it and I hope he is proud of me.

Hello, I’m Sandra – a passionate landscape photographer and solo globetrotter. In this blog I show my best landscape, nature and travel photos which have been taken during my travels around the world. I shared my passion for travel and photography with my late husband Gerd until 2018, whom I now take with me in my heart to every place I visit.
