I really enjoy spring after we missed it two years in a row when we traveled in Australia and New Zealand. And I also feel rather keen on taking macro photos after I somehow had an overdose of this field in the previous years. The delicate Wood anemone (Anemone nemorosa) is always among the first flowers of the season and we have virtually whole carpets of anemones in the woods close to where we live. It was a pleasure to look for compositions and to create a dreamy mood in the end. Well, I also took a few ticks home – clearly the dark side of macro photography these days… Here are two of my favourite photos and I hope you enjoy them.
Hello, I’m Sandra – a passionate landscape photographer and solo globetrotter. In this blog I show my best landscape, nature and travel photos which have been taken during my travels around the world. I shared my passion for travel and photography with my late husband Gerd until 2018, whom I now take with me in my heart to every place I visit.
