We moved on to the far south of La Palma to Los Quemados which was an ideal base to explore the area of the youngest volcano activity as well as the coast and I quickly found my main playground around the salinas of Fuencaliente. This small stretch of lava coast offers endless photo opportunities and I could only scratch the surface during our six days there. I know for sure that I want to come back to the far south the next time we travel to La Palma! So I took this photo on a picture-perfect afternoon when I got nice waves, a nice sky and a sunstar as the icing on the cake! Simply beautiful.
Hello, I’m Sandra – a passionate landscape photographer and solo globetrotter. In this blog I show my best landscape, nature and travel photos which have been taken during my travels around the world. I shared my passion for travel and photography with my late husband Gerd until 2018, whom I now take with me in my heart to every place I visit.
