I know that spring is in full swing when I find the Alpine squills (Scilla bifolia) in a local nature reserve near Basel. They are blooming in high numbers this year and it is a joy to view these tiny but beautiful flowers between the leaves of autumn. I’m a bit reluctant to shoot flowers this season and decided to photograph each flower not more than twice to avoid any more “overkill”. I’m lacking new ideas and I’m fed up with the same photos or bokeh every year. So at least, it was a good start with this group of Alpine squills as I have never done a “bunch of flower” photo in previous years. And I have one more time to look for other options… 😉
