This oak tree is supposed to be Europe’s most perfect oak tree regarding size and shape and it is located in the small village Wintersingen in Switzerland. It is only a short drive from home and I visited this tree multiple times during the seasons last year until I finally got a winter photo just shortly before we left for our trip to Norway. I’m really happy that I managed to complete this little project and I hope you enjoy this collage. Well, I have a few more photos to show of this tree and the surroundings that I took as a sort of “side product” – stay tuned 🙂
Hello, I’m Sandra – a passionate landscape photographer and solo globetrotter. In this blog I show my best landscape, nature and travel photos which have been taken during my travels around the world. I shared my passion for travel and photography with my late husband Gerd until 2018, whom I now take with me in my heart to every place I visit. Please also view my trip reports on my website Sandra Schänzer travelogues and photo galleries.
very cool. I have a few favorite trees here in the Rheintal. I considered doing something similar. Really nice with the rolling hills and changing colors and weather!!
This morning there was no time to visit the website 🙁 But I am happy that I have the time now to enjoy those amazing and beautiful pictures. From this fantastic oak tree during the four seasons of the year 🙂 I <3 them all but the winter picture is my favorite Sandra. Bucketlist 😉
Wow! what a great idea, ‘the four seasons”, and what nice photos!
