We are back from our winter holiday on the Lofoten Islands, Vesterålen and Senja and I must say that this time of the year is by far the most impressive for me! The sun does not come above the horizon but who needs the sun if you have such beautiful pastell pink and blue colours? We were following the polar night up north in the course of our journey and were fascinated by the tender blue tones of the everlasting blue hour – truly uncomparable to our blue hour. So here is my first pano shot that I took on our first stretch on the Lofoten Islands when the mood was still winterly. It is a panorama and if you fancy the large, up to 2500px wide version, please visit our Norway panorama gallery on our website.
