Speaking from a photography point of view, I’m always happy when summer with its harsh light is over. And I know that I’m right when I experience light situations like this one about two weeks ago in the Jurassic hills of Baselbiet. The Belchen region with its landmark Ankenballen is quite close to where I live and I occasionally go during the week when the light looks promising. You can be dead sure that I didn’t regret going there this afternoon late October 😉
Hello, I’m Sandra – a passionate landscape photographer and solo globetrotter. In this blog I show my best landscape, nature and travel photos which have been taken during my travels around the world. I shared my passion for travel and photography with my late husband Gerd until 2018, whom I now take with me in my heart to every place I visit. Please also view my trip reports on my website Sandra Schänzer travelogues and photo galleries.

everytime I come by I am amazed by your splendid photographs! your work is really stunning and beautiful Sandra!
I like them both, because of the different layers and the colous that are fading awing.
Many thanks Nancy, Marjo and Hilde for popping by and having a look at both pics 🙂 Thanks everyone who liked the post – I’m really overwhelmed by this feedback today and very happy 🙂
