It is a bit of a colour vs monochrome battle but not entirely fair, I must admit. I have been waiting for the perfect wave at this spot for at least half an hour on every of the two subsequent days while having lots of fun watching the waves and feeling the wind in my face. But I was lucky to get some very sweet light on the mountains on the second day in exactly that moment when the perfect wave eventually decided to visit me.
However, I think both photos have some sort of the nordic drama that I love so much.
Hello, I’m Sandra – a passionate landscape photographer and solo globetrotter. In this blog I show my best landscape, nature and travel photos which have been taken during my travels around the world. I shared my passion for travel and photography with my late husband Gerd until 2018, whom I now take with me in my heart to every place I visit. Please also view my trip reports on my website Sandra Schänzer travelogues and photo galleries.
Beautiful images. Both captured with just the right amount of movement in the water.
The swirl in the monochrome just edges it for me. Just.
Thank you Nik – I can hardly decide for myself this time 🙂
