Like almost all parts of central and eastern Europe, we had a lot of rain in the past weeks but luckily, it went without serious flooding in western Switzerland.
However, the streams and rivers were full and the waterfalls in my local area in Baselbiet looked overwhelming with these masses of water. So I went out a couple of times to check several waterfalls that are not very far apart in the Eital. In the beginning, the flow was not enough and the falls looked boring. After the strongest rain, they were just too full and they not only looked unattractive but there was also too much spray to take photos. I tried once but the lens was full of waterdrops after just two seconds and they are visible in the photo.
One day, though, was perfect and I took the opportunity to grab these two shots of this amazingly high waterfall.
