The area around Basel is rich in forests, streams and hence smaller and larger waterfalls. I would like to continue my little series about waterfalls in Baselbiet with these two photos that I took just a few kilometers apart.
There was a good flow of water after the rain and I found enough water in the left waterfall to add some balance and interest to the first photo.
The second waterfall is very often just a narrow flow but builds up quickly for a short while after heavy rain and looks gorgeous.
I hopy you enjoy.
Hello, I’m Sandra – a passionate landscape photographer and solo globetrotter. In this blog I show my best landscape, nature and travel photos which have been taken during my travels around the world. I shared my passion for travel and photography with my late husband Gerd until 2018, whom I now take with me in my heart to every place I visit. Two very nice images of these pretty waterfalls, Sandra. This looks like the place to be on a hot day…or most other days as well. 🙂
Both very good but the B&W edges it for me. There is more dynamism through the image.
Sandra,
It’s like a curtain. Very nice!

Excellent long exposure photography. Liked the second one more. 🙂
