Thanks to a fellow photographer, I had the great opportunity to observe and photograph our local European bee-eaters (Merops apiaster) in Southern Germany. It was a fantastic afternoon and the little gems were posing for me patiently. Well, this is only my interpretation, they actually settled on the perch and called for their Lady to hand over their gift.
I’m extremely happy with the experience and the photos I have achieved so I hope you will like them, too.
Hello, I’m Sandra – a passionate landscape photographer and solo globetrotter. In this blog I show my best landscape, nature and travel photos which have been taken during my travels around the world. I shared my passion for travel and photography with my late husband Gerd until 2018, whom I now take with me in my heart to every place I visit. They are indeed very beautiful birds. But…..that does not look like a bee. 🙂 Congratulations on these lovely images.
