Spring has arrived – slowly, but it has!
And although I have been processing our photos from Norway in every free minute, I took the time to look for the beautiful Alpine squills which are usually about the first to start blooming. I didn’t have much hope to find any when I went last Friday but to my great surprise, I found the small hill in Baselbiet full of these delicate flowers. Many were still closed but I knew that they would emerge very quickly and returned yesterday afternoon. I did not get as much nice light as during my first visit but I still enjoyed playing with these tiny, rare flowers.
Both photos have been taken with old manual lenses that I just love using. They feel good, they slow you down and are a joy to use – it is just fun, fun, fun!
Hello, I’m Sandra – a passionate landscape photographer and solo globetrotter. In this blog I show my best landscape, nature and travel photos which have been taken during my travels around the world. I shared my passion for travel and photography with my late husband Gerd until 2018, whom I now take with me in my heart to every place I visit. Oooooh! These are gorgeous. Especially number 2. I think you should auction prints to raise money for Cyprus – they need “squillions” of Euros 🙂
Hi Sandra, 2nd one is my favorite. I am going to look for them tomorrow! Officially spring today!
Lovely. I am glad you found something to brighten your day…..and ours. 🙂
wooooow, these are great! so tender and soft colours. I like them both!
These are absolutely stunning! Great bokeh and wonderful colors all around!
