Yesterday really made up for the previous days! There was fresh snow, the landscape finally was turned into a winter landscape again, the smaller fjords were covered with ice and ice sheets again and we enjoyed a three-hour fireworks in the sky last night. Finally!
The Northern lights are truly magnificent and spectacular but it is sometimes the simplest things that can make for an interesting subject.
This is just a stone in the Rhine river shortly before sunset that caught my eye when I strolled along the river. The long exposure reflects the calmness and serenity of that moment when I took the photo.
