The Lofoten Islands showed a different face almost every day and we travelled from winter to spring and back to winter again. We had little sunshine, lots of rain, eventually snow, heavy gales and temperatures like spring. But something always remains the same: the incredible tranquility and peacefulness of this gem high up in the North.
I just felt deep thankfulness to witness this unsettled morning and lost myself in the calmness of the Lofoten Islands.
Hello, I’m Sandra – a passionate landscape photographer and solo globetrotter. In this blog I show my best landscape, nature and travel photos which have been taken during my travels around the world. I shared my passion for travel and photography with my late husband Gerd until 2018, whom I now take with me in my heart to every place I visit. Please also view my trip reports on my website Sandra Schänzer travelogues and photo galleries.
Look impressive!
I’m looking forward to seeing your recent Aurora pics.
Best Regards
Adit
There is a nice silvery quality to this image, Sandra. So much interesting texture contrasting with the smooth serene water and those great moody clouds.
