My passion for Black and White wakes up from time to time as already mentioned in this blog post last year: Back to the roots – my passion for Black and White
When I reviewed the photos I took last month during a visit in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland, I realized quickly that I’d prefer these shots in Black and White. My eyes and vision work completely differently when I convert photos to monochrome and I still prefer to create a moody photo instead of preserving every tone.
I have also uploaded my second Black and White gallery to my website. So if you like these photos, then please consider to pay a visit to our : Monochrome photo gallery
Hello, I’m Sandra – a passionate landscape photographer and solo globetrotter. In this blog I show my best landscape, nature and travel photos which have been taken during my travels around the world. I shared my passion for travel and photography with my late husband Gerd until 2018, whom I now take with me in my heart to every place I visit. Please also view my trip reports on my website Sandra Schänzer travelogues and photo galleries.

I’m testing this new functionality on my blog. Facebook users can directly comment on blog posts. Is it nice?
Pretty cool functionality, Sandra. Great images too. 🙂
Love these. Mega moody.
Wonderful black & white photography! Do you ever print them?
Hello Graham,
thanks a lot for your kind comment.
No, I usually don’t print as I don’t have a photo printer that could handle fine art B&W papers. Maybe in the future.
If I ever want a print, then I have it done by an online provider.
Cheers – Sandra
Hi Sandra,
I have the Epson 4800 Pro for printing up to A2 size but it’s a bit of a full time job keeping it running. I very rarely print these days because of the hassle. Like you say, best to just get someone else to do it for you!
