We are back from our trip to the Basque Country and we had a great time although not all circumstances were as I have hoped for. But you can’t have the cake and eat it all every time and it is a very good reason to return to this fantastic part of Spain.
I have dreamt of seeing and photographing the fascinating geological formation Flysch for quite a long time now and it was just gorgeous to see this unique stone rows with my own eyes. Most interestingly, the name Flysch was introduced by Swiss geologist Bernhard Studer in 1827 and the term is derived from the German word “fliessen” which means to flow.
This is one of the last photos that I took yesterday and it will for sure always remind me of an unforgettable afternoon with the Flysch.
