I’m just back from fantastic four days in the Kaiserstuhl (Germany) that I mostly spent with the Pasque flowers (Pulsatilla vulgaris). I was very lucky to have had perfect light conditions every morning and every evening and I deliberately restricted myself to using just one dedicated lens on each occasion.
This photo was taken during my “500mm lens session” last Friday – I just love the dreamy effect that can be created with long telephoto lenses and I’m lucky that I don’t have to carry it far to my favourite Pasque flower location![]()
This group of flowers reminded me of a family with the adults on the left side and the small kids on the right side – Family ties![]()
I’m already looking forward to the next weekend when I will return…
